The fourth cycle of Health Systems Global Regional Pre-Conferences for Latin America and the Caribbean opens, in preparation for the VIII World Symposium in Nagasaki, Japan. First stop: Colombia.

It will take place in the city of Cali, on October 30. Abstracts are received until September 30, 2023.

Health Systems Global (HSG) is the international research society in health systems and services that invites academic leaders, sector policy makers and members of civil society every two years to participate in its World Symposium. The next one will be held in Nagasaki, Japan in 2024.

Looking ahead to the global meeting, the main objective of the Pre-Conference Cycle in the Americas is to enhance the debate on the design and implementation of policies for more equitable and effective health systems and services, with a focus on Latin America and the Caribbean. It seeks to promote the exchange of experiences between researchers and policy makers around interdisciplinary discussion tables; stimulate the presentation of abstracts by Latin American and Caribbean authors at the Global Symposium Call and strengthen the presence and presentation of studies on health systems and policies from Latin America and the Caribbean at the Symposium.

The Pre-Conferences have a virtual and in-person modality. We invite all interested parties to register.
