Daniel Maceira participated in the Congress “Wind of Change and Streams of Solidarity: Latin America, the Caribbean and Europe in the 21st Century” at the University of Bergen, Norway

He was a speaker on the panel “Inequalities in access and financial protection in health systems in Latin America and the Caribbean.”

Together with a large panel composed of Pablo Gaitán Rossi Coordinator of the health area of Equide (Mexico), Daniela C. Rodriguez, Researcher at Johns Hopkins University (USA) and Rolando Enrique Peñaloza Quintero Director of the Public Health Institute of the Javeriana University (Colombia), with the coordination of Ana Lorena Ruano Researcher at the Center for International Health of the University of Bergen, the specialists debated the challenges posed by current Latin American health systems.

La conferencia tuvo como objetivo centrarse en las posibilidades comunes que presentan América Latina, El Caribe y Europa en torno a cuatro temáticas: Arte y cultura; democracia; medioambiente y tecnología; y salud.
