The call is jointly organized by the journal Health Policy and Planning and Health Systems Global, funded by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC).

Accepted papers will be published to be presented at a special journal supplement of the 8th Global Symposium on Health Systems Research to be held in Nagasaki, Japan from 18 to 22 November 20 2024.
This supplement will focus Intersectoral collaboration and integrative governance on the road for health in all policies. We particularly welcome research that appraise intersectoral collaboration in the following areas: The Environment and Health; Nutrition; Urban Health; School Health; Universal Health Coverage and primary health care; WASH; One Health; and Humanitarian crisis and migration. This list is not exclusive.

Original research articles as well as review papers are invited. We particularly welcome papers that not only analyze problems but seek to provide solutions and insights into a path forward that improves health systems performance.

Full manuscripts should be submitted to the journal by 30 September 2023 through the submission link on the journal website.
